For years, the Back to the Future DeLorean DMC-12 has been a constant project, always finding ways to improve it. This was the first time I felt like I got it right.
More time was spent designing the folding wheels assembly than everything else put together. These wheels simply don't just flip down underneath the car - they extend out, flip down and then are pushed up into the wheel cavity in one smooth motion. Once you are finished flying, you can simply push the wheels back into position and start driving on solid ground - the wheel assembly is designed to automatically "lock" into position to prevent any jamming or slipping.
And then, of course, opening gull-wing doors and accessories such as the conducting rod, Mr. Fusion, and a plutonium chamber.
